CHICAGO, IL – RTI International public health researchers will present at the American Public Health Association's 143rd Annual Meeting & Exposition in Chicago, Illinois, Oct. 31 – Nov. 4.
With more than 12,500 anticipated attendees, the Annual APHA Meeting & Exposition is a unique opportunity for health professionals to convene, share ideas, network and collaborate with their peers. Established in 1872, the event is the oldest and most diverse gathering of healthcare professionals in the world. The theme of this year's conference is "Health in All Policies."
RTI public health researchers and other experts will present on topics ranging from tobacco policies, food security, e-cigarettes, obesity and HIV/AIDS during more than 24 poster presentations and sessions.
More than 1,000 educational sessions comprise this event, which will focus on how public health agencies and organizations can best work with those who influence and create public policy to create healthier communities and environments.
RTI will hold an evening reception on Monday, Nov. 2, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at McCormick Place Room S101b. RTI also will staff booth 1515 in the exhibit hall of the conference.
A recruiter from RTI will be at the conference to speak with individuals interested in working at the Institute.
