Kaylyn Lemons (Sinisgalli) is a member of the RTI Center for Water Resources. As a Water Resources Engineer, she specializes in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, data analytics, and operational forecasting for water resource systems. Her expertise includes developing and enhancing forecasting systems using tools such as RiverWare and Delft-FEWS, as well as conducting climate change impact assessments and risk analyses. Ms. Lemons leverages programming skills in Python and GIS applications to support real-time decision-making and improve operational workflows.

Currently, Ms. Lemons supports the development of an operational forecast system for Alabama Power, improving the integration of real-time data with rules-based RiverWare models to enhance operational decision-making. She also leads the development of a data management system using Delft-FEWS for the Wisconsin Valley Improvement Company, which leverages a Python-based reservoir simulation tool. She also has experience with climate change modeling through her work with Tennessee Valley Authority, where she develops metrics to better understand the impact of climate change on TVA's operations. 

Ms. Lemons joined RTI in 2023. Prior to RTI, she worked as a Utility Management Analyst at HDR, managing several sewer-cleaning contracts, automating GIS workflows, and enhancing wastewater system management tools.

Ms. Lemons holds a professional certification in Engineer in Training (EIT).
