Amy Martin has over 25 years of expertise in medical communications, with a robust background in academic and professional environments. Ms. Martin heads an integrated team of medical communication specialists dedicated to providing comprehensive support in medical affairs, scientific strategy, medical education, and publication services for the pharmaceutical industry.

Before joining RTI Health Solutions, Ms. Martin served as Director of Communications at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, where she honed her skills in translating complex medical information into impactful communication strategies that support diverse audiences. Her work in the academic sector complements her extensive experience in the professional realm, equipping her with the insight to drive strategic communications that meet the needs of pharmaceutical clients and enhance public health understanding.

Recognized for her contributions to the field, Ms. Martin was selected to co-lead the American Medical Writers Association’s 2025 Education Committee, where she will guide the development and advancement of educational initiatives. Known for her ability to lead cross-functional teams and build strong, lasting relationships with stakeholders, she is an active member of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) and the Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS).
