CMS Data Summit 2022
Date
Location

The 2022 CMS Data Summit, held September 20-21, will bring together thousands of CMS business and IT executives and staff to discuss the organizational challenges and opportunities around CMS health care data.
The virtual summit facilitates meaningful engagement and outreach between industry vendors and CMS. This year’s theme of “The Future of Data and CMS” allows attendees to have their finger of the pulse of health care data and brings CMS one step closer to allowing health care data to flow more freely and securely while also improving patient care and reducing administrative burden.
RTI researcher, Lisa Lines, will be participating in a panel session discussing how data science can be better used to break down barriers to health inequities. RTI fellow, Grier Page, will also be presenting a session on MetaMatchMaker (M3), a suite of cutting-edge AI approaches and tools that saves time and reduces costs related to finding and integrating data. During the conference, don't forget to stop by our virtual booth to see how RTI is improving data discovery and data harmonization processes by using the M3 suite.

Improve Data Discovery and Harmonization using Cutting-Edge AI Tools
Wednesday, September 21 | 11:45 AM - 12:00 PM EDT
Presenter: Grier Page, PhD
In the age of big data, data generation vastly outpaces analysis. Spend less time searching for, accessing, and integrating data with MetaMatchMaker (M3), a machine learning application suite that helps researchers speed up the process of getting data ready for analysis. M3 uses transfer learning to quickly adapt to new scientific domains and to search for topics by keyword and apply filters.
