Retaining assistance from RTI International and The National District Attorneys Association, the 2020 NSP collected data from a sample of 750 of the approximately 2,350 prosecutor offices across the 50 states and the District of Columbia. This new iteration collected data on emerging topics such as hate crimes, human trafficking, diversion programs and problem-solving courts. The survey methodology, major findings, and challenges will be discussed.
