Purpose: Adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) are at an increased risk of acquiring HIV and HSV-2, and unintended pregnancies are high in AGYW. Despite the protective impact of caregiveradolescent relationships on risk behaviors, less attention has been paid to the association of these Methods: We used longitudinal data from HIV Prevention Trial Network 068, which was conducted among 2,533 AGYW (13 - 20 years) over 5 years in Agincourt, South Africa.
