International marginal abatement costs of non-CO2 greenhouse gases
Non-CO2 Greenhouse Gasses
Gallaher, M., Delhotal, K., & Petrusa, J. (2005). International marginal abatement costs of non-CO2 greenhouse gases: Non-CO2 Greenhouse Gasses. Environmental Sciences, 2(2-3), 328-338. https://doi.org/10.1080/15693430500395685
This analysis develops country-specific non-CO2 greenhouse gas abatement cost estimates that can be incorporated into economic models, allowing the abatement options for these gases to be compared with the abatement of CO2. The data are based on official government emission projections or Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change guidelines for estimating emissions, on existing engineering-economic studies, and on available country- or region-specific economic data. The results of the analysis are presented as marginal abatement curves for countries that are major sources of emissions, including Russia, China, the United States and Ukraine.
