North Carolina Science Festival

Promoting STEM education and engagement in our community

RTI is honored to serve as the presenting sponsor of the 2025 North Carolina Science Festival (NCSciFest), an initiative of the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center. Together with our local partners, we are committed to promoting STEM education, collaboration, and innovation to inspire the next generation of scientists in our community and advance the progress of North Carolina.

NCSciFest runs throughout the month of April each year and celebrates science's educational, cultural, and economic impact in our state. The theme for 2025, “Everyday, Everywhere, Everyone,” encourages audiences to see that science is in their daily lives, extends far beyond the confines of laboratory settings and is accessible for all. The goal is to bring together students, families, researchers, and science enthusiasts from all walks of life to celebrate the wonders of discovery. NCSciFest will feature a range of activities, from field trips and lab tours to large-scale community events.

RTI researchers and volunteers will be participating in the UNC Science Expo at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Saturday, April 5.
