The rankings were generated by surveying 60,000 U.S.-based employees
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — For the sixth straight time, RTI International, a nonprofit research institute, has earned a spot on Forbes’ list of America’s Best Midsize Employers.
RTI is ranked #215 out of 500 companies in the 2022 rankings, released today. Inclusion was based on an independent survey from a sample of approximately 60,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people in their U.S. operations.
“We are excited and honored to again earn this recognition from Forbes,” said RTI president and CEO Tim J. Gabel. “As an institute, we firmly believe that people are empowered when they work in an inclusive environment that supports and emphasizes their skills. The culture we have fostered at RTI is a testament to our employees and their commitment to improving the human condition.”
In total, Forbes recognized 1,000 employers across 25 industry sectors, dividing large and midsize employers into separate categories.
Evaluations were based on direct and indirect recommendations from respondents who were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employer to friends and family. Respondents were also asked about other employers in their respective industries.
