RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC – Pharmaceutical research experts from RTI Health Solutions, a business unit of RTI International, will share their recent research at the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research 18th Annual European Congress Nov. 8-11 in Milan, Italy.
RTI Health Solutions staff members are contributing a total of 44 presentations and posters to the event.
One of the highlights of the conference will be Rare Diseases: Navigating the Road to Approval and Access, an hour-long educational symposium. The moderator and one of the three speakers are from RTI Health Solutions: Chris Knight, senior director of health economics, and Susan Martin, head of patient-reported outcomes. Participants will discuss the development of clinical outcome assessment strategies to support product registration, effective collaboration with patient advocacy groups and clinicians, and the creation of economic models to support health technology assessment.
Brett Hauber, Ph.D., senior economist and vice president of Health Preference Assessment at RTI Health Solutions, will participate in a plenary session titled "Recommendations from the ISPOR Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis Emerging Good Practice Task Force and Remaining Controversies - Identification of Remaining Controversies and Solutions for Using MCDA in Health Care."
Other sessions led by RTI Health Solutions will include short courses on conjoint analysis and budget impact analysis, and special interest groups on nutrition economics and oncology.
In total, 41 experts from RTI Health Solutions will attend. RTI Health Solutions will also operate a booth during the conference.
