RTI acknowledged by TIME as one of America’s Best Mid-Size Companies 2024

The award recognizes RTI’s commitment to sustainability and creating a positive work environment

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Nonprofit research institute RTI International has been included on TIME’s list of America’s Best Mid-Size Companies 2024. This prestigious award, introduced this year, is presented by TIME and industry ranking provider Statista Inc. 

“We are honored to be recognized on TIME’s first America’s Best Mid-Size Companies list,” said RTI President and CEO Tim J. Gabel. “At RTI International we strive to improve the human condition in all that we do, and this award recognizes our efforts.”

America's Best Mid-Size Companies 2024 were identified based on three dimensions using more than 15 different criteria. The project scope considered all companies that operate in the U.S. and generated at least $100 million in revenue but less than $10 billion in 2022 or 2023. Companies were evaluated using three criteria:

1. Employee Satisfaction: Standardized work-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on survey data from a large sample of employees from U.S. companies.
2. Revenue Growth: Revenue growth data of all relevant companies from the internal growth database and company database.
3. Sustainability Transparency: Standardized KPIs relevant to environment, social and governance (ESG) from the internal ESG database and targeted data research.

The recognition adds to other recent awards received by RTI for providing an excellent workplace experience, including:
