The list includes many large companies and is backed by a rigorous research methodology
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — RTI International, a nonprofit research institute, has been named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity 2025 by Newsweek. The list recognizes organizations from various industries committed to building inclusive workplaces where diverse perspectives are valued as reflected in feedback from employees.
RTI received 4.5 out of 5 stars and was awarded among large companies such as Apple, HP and Microsoft.
“We are honored to be recognized by Newsweek for our culture of belonging,” said Bucky Fairfax, D.B.A., executive vice president, chief human resources officer at RTI. “The unique expertise, skills and experiences of our staff make us stronger collectively and create the foundation for positively impacting our mission to improve the human condition.”
The rigorous research process to determine America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity 2025 was led by market data research firm Plant-A Insights and AI-powered business intelligence platform Aniline. It included an assessment of publicly available data, information from specialized data partners, interviews with human resources professionals, a large-scale survey and a comprehensive pool of desk research data from the past two years.
Respondents shared insights and experiences related to corporate culture, working conditions and other aspects of their current employers, as well as companies they were familiar with. In total, the study considered more than 403,000 employee interviews and more than 4.9 million company reviews, making it one of the largest independent employee studies in the U.S.
Newsweek also recently recognized RTI as one of America's Greenest Companies 2025.
