Stephen King is a survey director in RTI’s Justice and Security Program. He has over 16 years of experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research. 

Mr. King primarily works in content areas related to criminal justice, establishment surveys, public health surveys, and program evaluations. He designs and manages large, complex web, mail, in-person, and mixed-mode data collections. Prior to joining RTI, he was a survey supervisor for the U.S. Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey. 

Outside of his project work, Mr. King’s research interests revolve around the intersection of industrial/organizational psychology and survey research. Specifically, he investigates improving the field interviewer selection process.

Mr. King is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Southern Association for Public Opinion Research.
