Renata Zablocka is a research public health analyst at RTI’s Center for Criminal Legal System Research. She works on evaluation, research, and training and technical assistance (TTA) projects in the areas of reentry, jail diversion, and substance use —managing projects, developing research protocols, coordinating data collection, developing resources, and writing reports. She has extensive experience in budget and schedule management, as well as day-to-day project coordination. She currently leads two large-scale TTA projects funded by Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) that focus on reentry and pretrial diversion. In addition, she supports several projects funded by National Institute of Justice (NIJ) that focus on evaluation of reentry programs implemented across the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) facilities, evaluation of literacy and ESL programming in the FBOP, and evaluation of the use of virtual check-ins for community supervision.

Since joining RTI in 2007, Ms. Zablocka has facilitated various roles, including site liaison, TA coach, data collector (quantitative and qualitative), interviewer (qualitative and cognitive), focus groups facilitator, data coder and analysis (quantitative and qualitative) across numerous projects for Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS), National Institute of Justice (NIJ), Department of Defense HIV/AIDS Prevention Program (DHAPP), and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) as well as local government agencies and foundations.
