Dr. Meredith McCormac is a senior international education professional with nearly 20 years of experience implementing USAID-funded programs and leading results-focused teams. Since joining RTI in 2022, Dr. McCormac has provided technical assistance in education systems strengthening, research, and M&E to several projects. She currently serves as the Project Director of RTI’s Improving Learning Outcomes for Asia program, funded through USAID/Washington’s Asia Bureau and USAID Missions across the Asia region. 

Prior to joining RTI, Dr. McCormac served the Southern and East Africa regions as an Education Specialist for the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), where she focused on policy and planning and education systems transformation. Before joining GPE, as Vice President of Organizational Growth and Learning at World Learning, she led the organization’s M&E and business development teams. Additionally, as World Learning’s Pakistan Country Representative, Dr. McCormac managed World Learning’s subgrant on the USAID-funded Pakistan Reading Project, managing a team of 110 staff across 3 geographic regions, and oversaw a broader $60+ million USAID/Pakistan portfolio. In other roles, she has managed and provided technical assistance on programs that focus on basic education, girls and youth empowerment, workforce development, and institutional strengthening in 17 countries. Dr. McCormac is currently based in Nairobi, Kenya.
