Matthew Finholt-Daniel

Matthew Finholt-Daniel develops and implements software used by teachers and students worldwide. He has tailored products to domestic and international settings, creating systems that make a positive impact on training and data management in the field of education. 

Recently, Mr. Finholt-Daniel has focused on Tangerine Tutor, our mobile application for early-grade reading assessment and data collection. As a core member of the Tangerine team, he has helped guide the nationwide scale-up of Tangerine across Kenya and supported a multitude of deployments around the globe.

Mr. Finholt-Daniel came to RTI in 2014 from Seward Incorporated, where he was Director of Technology, leading the development of academic and corporate software. He has broad international experience, having worked in Asia, sub-Saharan Africa, and the Middle East for a variety of public- and private-sector clients. He is a member of the Comparative and International Education Society and the Professional Association for Computer Training.
