Brailey Faris

As an Innovation Analyst with RTI Innovation Advisors, Brailey Faris brings to food, consumer products and medtech clients experience in technology landscaping, scouting and monitoring, market feasibility and commercialization. With expertise in workshop facilitation, Brailey participates in our work delivering lean start up training to entrepreneurs in the Philippines and helps them define the commercial and societal value of their research; her focus includes business model generation and customer discovery. Through horizon scanning and market research, Brailey identifies, evaluates, and compares products and technology solutions for the criminal justice sector. For our federal clients, Brailey supports NASA’s technology commercialization needs and goals and is involved in the National Institutes of Health work to translate basic science discoveries into viable diagnostic and therapeutic candidates. In addition, through our collaboration with the National Institute of Justice, she uncovers insights that support the implementation of new forensic technology and end user best practices. Before joining RTI Innovation Advisors in 2021, Brailey played Division 1 lacrosse as an undergraduate at Columbia University
