Anuja G. Purohit serves as RTI's Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary and Chief Legal Officer (CLO). She provides strategic legal guidance to senior management and RTI's Board of Governors, ensuring that RTI's operations align with the highest legal and ethical standards. Her role involves monitoring emerging trends and developing responses that are aligned with RTI's mission, vision and values to advance organizational objectives. She also supports major business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraging her broad range of legal skills and experience working on complex business transactions at RTI, helping navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes.

Ms. Purohit joined RTI in 2006. As Deputy General Counsel, she oversaw RTI’s international, labor and employment law, and ethics functions. She also was instrumental in establishing and supporting RTI’s offices around the globe. As an advocate for our internal Bridging & Belonging initiative and having served as an executive sponsor for the Women’s Advancement, Leadership, and Success (WALS) Employee Resource Group, she is known for fostering a culture of integrity, respect, and belonging.

Ms. Purohit's professional background also includes nearly a decade as a lawyer in private practice in North Carolina and California. She is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association's Corporate Counsel Section and Chair of the Section’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. After graduating from law school at Duke University, she was awarded a Ford Foundation Research Fellowship in Public International Law. She is fluent in English and Hindi and has basic proficiency in Spanish.
