Ana Isabel Diaz

Ana Isabel Diaz is an expert in business development and innovation within RTI Innovation Advisors, a business unit of RTI International. Ms. Diaz engages with stakeholders, develops new businesses, executes business campaigns, strategizes sustainability initiatives, and develops retail innovation and programs. 

Recently, Ms. Diaz contributed to research informing updated product standards and ingredients policies for a major U.S. retailer’s sustainable beauty platform. She led efforts to support a workstream focused on enhancing transparency and safety standards for fragrances across beauty, personal care, and home fragrance categories. She gathered insights from industry stakeholders and analyzed ingredients to inform the company of sustainability expansion criteria across multiple product lines. 

Before joining RTI in 2023, Ms. Diaz co-founded Basquet, an allergen-friendly grocer, featured in Forbes and Grocery Dive. She also served as a supply chain operations analyst for TJX Companies; a business analyst at Brown Brothers Harriman; and an investment banking summer analyst at Violy & Co. 

In addition to her work, Ms. Diaz holds a profession certification in Lean Six Sigma, and she is fluent in Spanish.
