Amelia Craze Smith

Amelia Craze Smith is a research chemist at RTI’s Analytical Lab. She develops and validates PM_2.5 filter extraction methods and analyzes organic and inorganic components of PM_2.5. She also interprets potential health impacts of PM_2.5 exposure and coordinates community events to promote environmental health literacy and advocacy. Currently, Dr. Smith supports the Chemical Speciation Network and IMPROVE Air Network projects. She holds a professional membership at the Society of Toxicology (SOT) and the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry.
