RTI’s Math Collaborative Network is hosting its spring event for large school districts in North Carolina. This event will focus on “Equity and Access for All Students.” The keynote speaker, Dr. Valerie Faulkner of North Carolina State University, will provoke you to think differently to improve mathematics instruction and student outcomes from a cultural perspective. She will also conduct a work session with participants afterwards. North Carolina Department of Public instruction staff members and RTI researchers will be on site to facilitate sessions and answer questions regarding trending math topics. Participants will also discuss problems of practice, share opportunities for progress, and collaborate with respective team members for reflection and steps to action.
