Opioid Misuse & Overdose Prevention Summit

RTI researchers will be among the presenters during the Opioid Misuse & Overdose Prevention Summit. Laurie Cluff, PhD, will discuss opioid prevention in the workplace, while Phillip Graham, DrPH, will speak about broader prevention efforts.

The summit is hosted by the North Carolina Division of Health and Human Services and the UNC Injury Prevention Research Center. Its goal is to reduce opioid misuse, addiction, and overdose death by building momentum behind strategic activities, educating partners on evidence-based/informed policies and practices, and rallying behind interventions that focus on social determinants, healthcare, harm reduction, and criminal justice.
