Successful data-driven projects require a focus on both data modernization and data equity. How do these two concepts intersect and how can they be applied to improve decision-making, accelerate implementation, and optimize research outcomes that are inclusive of populations often underrepresented in data sources?
The Data Modernization and Equity webinar, part of the RTI Tech Talk series, shared about the latest trends and solutions in data modernization and equity, with a specific focus on methods and frameworks that seek to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in research and research outcomes. The panelists discussed RTI’s Equity-Centered Transformative Research framework and how it informs approaches for RTI's data modernization solutions.
During this webinar, attendees learned:
- the importance and challenges surrounding data modernization and data equity in the research lifecycle;
- new trends and solutions in data modernization and equity that can help you improve the movement and use of data throughout the data lifecycle, while promoting DEI in your work;
