In this 2-day workshop, teachers learn best practices for collaborative group work strategies for students. Through active engagement in collaborative group work and reflective conversations with colleagues, teachers will learn how to design and facilitate effective student groups in their classrooms. By the end of the session, participants will:
- Define characteristics of high-quality collaborative group work
- Intentionally plan for and structure high quality collaborative group work
- Identify and refine strategies for collaborative group work to use in the classroom
