This study investigates the ways in which regional infrastructure development can promote the transition to green economies in the energy, transport and water sectors in the East African Community (EAC). The study also makes recommendations to support more sustainable growth patterns, reduce poverty and enhance climate resilience in the EAC.
RTI International, a non-profit research institute, led this study in partnership with African Centre for Technology studies. This report was prepared by Kara E. Reeve (Team Lead, RTI) and Kate Bronstein (RTI) with technical inputs and support from Charles Tonui (ACTS), and Joanes Atela (ACTS).
