Inhomogeneities of exchange interaction in thin amorphous films — experimental results
Maksymowicz, LJ., Temple, D., & Zuberek, R. (1986). Inhomogeneities of exchange interaction in thin amorphous films — experimental results. Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 58(3-4), 303-308. https://doi.org/10.1016/0304-8853(86)90451-8
Fluctuations of spin-system parameters, exchange interaction parameters and magnetization are investigated for ferromagnetic FeB and ferrimagnetic GdCoMo amorphous thin films by means of a spin wave resonance experiment performed in the temperature range 4.2 to 295 K. The principal characteristics of the fluctuations: the mean square deviation ? and the correlation length ? have been determined from the experimental dispersion relation on the basis of Ignatchenko's et al. model. It was found that ? and ? do not depend significantly on temperature in the investigated range, but they vary with boron concentration in the case of FeB films.
