The effect of Linked Learning certified pathways on selected student outcomes
Fitzgerald, R., Ottem, R., & Hufford, J. (2016). The effect of Linked Learning certified pathways on selected student outcomes. National Center for Innovation in Career and Technical Education, U.S. Department of Education.
This study explores the relationship between high school students’ participation in linked learning high school pathways and their college readiness and subsequent postsecondary outcomes. The study uses data on California students who participated in certified linked learning pathways and who were seniors in high school in 2011 and 2012. Propensity score matching is used to compare high school graduation rates, completion of a-g courses required for entry into a California state university, and postsecondary enrollment rates for certified pathway participants against similar students who did not participate in any pathway.
