Roshan Narasinghage (Roh-shahn Nah-rah-sing-hah-gay) is a seasoned environmental and social development professional with over a decade of technical and managerial experience. He was instrumental in developing and facilitating the implementation of Sri Lanka’s national program on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for plastic waste. He has designed and implemented several international donor and private sector led projects on themes such as solid waste management, climate change, environmental conservation, and agriculture. He also carries rich experience in forging partnerships and closely collaborating with various international donors, private sector firms, governmental institutions and community groups to achieve development objectives.  

Roshan currently serves as Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID-funded Ocean Plastics Reduction Activity, a five-year project led by RTI that aims to reduce environmental plastics by decreasing plastic inputs and improving integrated solid waste management practices in both Sri Lanka and Maldives.

Prior to joining RTI in 2022, Roshan worked as Program Manager of Biodiversity Sri Lanka where he took the lead in operationalizing several flagship projects including a five-year ecological restoration project involving ten private companies and conservation agencies in Sri Lanka.
