Morgan Bailey is a chemist at RTI. With experience in both conventional quantitative proteomics and quantitative stability-based proteomics, Dr. Bailey conducts proteomic analyses of biomarkers, post-translational modifications, and protein targets using high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) to understand how proteins respond to PFAS exposure. He has experience designing liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LCMS) methodologies and sample preparation workflows for proteomic analyses, as well as small molecule compound identification; interpreting large proteomic datasets; and implementing biochemical validation assays.

Before joining RTI in 2024, Dr. Bailey served as a graduate research assistant at Duke University, where he led the development and implementation of stability-based proteomic methods to identify novel protein biomarkers to characterize disease phenotypes.
