Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) – The combination of medications and behavioral therapy - is an effective opioid addiction treatment. Despite its effectiveness, evidence-based MAT for opioid use disorders (OUD) is unavailable to many patients in a context that meets their clinical needs.
In this webinar, participants will hear from experts from state behavioral health agencies on how they are financing and expanding access to medication assisted treatment across settings. Discussion topics will include collaborations with Medicaid programs, use of discretionary and block grants, and changes in administrative policies.
