Join RTI at the 2024 National Environmental Justice Conference and Training. The event gathers leaders from various sectors to exchange ideas and approaches to achieve environmental justice. RTI researchers will be facilitating a workshop to introduce participants to a set of practical research tools and frameworks that can help groups (e.g., community-based organizations, coalitions, public agencies) define and advance environmental justice projects.

Workshop Learning Objectives
- Describe the benefits of incorporating research practices into the planning and implementing of community-led environmental justice projects
- Describe key components of participatory action research and specific practices that center equity
- Describe practice-base guiding principles for engaging community groups in research projects
Additionally, all participants will receive a set of curated materials, including templates that support the incorporation of research practices into their community-led environmental justice projects.
