Join RTI at this year's Military Health System Research Symposium (MHSRS) – the Department of Defense's foremost scientific meeting. It draws approximately 4,000 attendees to learn about new scientific knowledge resulting from military-unique research and development. MHSRS provides a collaborative setting for the exchange of information between military providers with deployment experience, research and academic scientists, international partners, and industry on research and related health care initiatives.
Meet with RTI experts and learn about our work in military research & solutions. Our work with the DoD spans over 40 years and includes:
- Studying the use of stellate ganglion block to treat PTSD and other mental-health disorders
- Developing the SIGMA+ Health application; an initiative allowing operational forces to have secure and critical real-time health data
- Leading the North Carolina Center for Optimizing Military Performance (NC-COMP), a consortium that brings together expertise in research, medicine, health, fitness, engineering, materials, and manufacturing, to allow for accelerated creation and deployment of solutions that fill critical performance gaps
