RTI International was a proud sponsor of the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference, or Conference of the Parties (COP28), as a sponsor of The Climate Registry's Pathway to 1.5 Pavilion (Blue Zone, B7, Building 88). This event took place Nov. 30 - Dec. 12, 2023 in Expo City, Dubai. COP28 is one of the world’s largest international meetings focused on tackling climate change, limiting emissions, and stopping global warming.
We joined industry, academia, and public and private sector participants in panel discussions, speaking engagements, and events, all centered around taking action to address climate change and the associated inequities. Our priority at COP28 involved raising awareness in four key areas linked to climate change:
