Clean Currents 2023

We're proud to be attending Clean Currents 2023 in Cincinnati, Ohio. During the conference, visit Booth 328 to meet our team and learn about our work in hydropower, forecasting, and risk assessment. We hope to see you there!

We will be showcasing two RTI-developed models at the booth:

• The Rainfall Runoff Frequency Tool is a cloud-based software system used to develop hydrologic hazard information for Dam and Levee Safety risk assessments. It employs a stochastic sampling approach of precipitation and storms for developing reservoir inflow, volume, and stage annual exceedance probabilities. 
• The Accessible Lightweight Power Sector Simulation is an open-source electricity sector model used to inform decision makers on the evolution of the energy grid and related emissions over time and in response to policy or economic shocks. We will be demonstrating its use in scenarios related to hydropower as an energy source.
