Ineffective feedback can leave us all feeling resentful and stuck; however, given the right way, effective feedback can launch us into a self-directed path of reflection, learning and continuous growth. In this session, leaders will identify different types of feedback and discuss when and how to use each and how to discuss and debrief data with teachers using powerful questioning techniques. By the end of the session, participants will:
- Define and discuss types of feedback
- Analyze use of feedback tools
- Practice powerful questioning techniques for discussing data and identifying teaching and learning goals
