The RTI Fellow Program presents Doris Rouse, PhD for the Distinguished Lecture Series on Jan. 30.
Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) involving collaborations between the pharmaceutical industry, government agencies, academics, foundations, and independent nonprofit organizations hold great promise for addressing unmet needs in medical product research and development. Effective partnerships can enhance innovation, reduce risk, manage costs, and may provide a means for steering research and development investment to address societal objectives. This lecture will describe the formation of successful partnerships and examples of medical advances made possible through PPPs. Dr. Rouse will also examine the key factors that have been critical to successful partnerships. An ongoing understanding of the key factors for partnership success can inform the continued evolution of partnerships and enhance their contributions to the development of new medical products.
Join the presentation virtually or in-person from 3-4 p.m. – an in-person reception will follow.
