HIV/AIDS Research
Our professional staff conduct high-impact, multidisciplinary research to identify the distribution and determinants of HIV infection, design and evaluate interventions to reduce risk, and inform HIV communication campaigns. In all areas of our research, we focus on populations at increased risk of infection and transmission.
The range of our activities in HIV/AIDS research is supported by expertise in the following areas:
- Community- and evidence-based HIV interventions
- Clinical epidemiology
- International epidemiology
- Health communication and marketing
- Data coordinating centers
In particular, our capabilities to serve as a data coordinating center for large, international, multisite clinical trials have given us an excellent reputation as a highly valued project partner.
