RTI Visiting Fellow Program

The objective of the RTI Visiting Fellow Program is to select individuals to serve as senior advocates for RTI's research capabilities and policy expertise.

Identifying and Selecting RTI Visiting Fellows

Visiting Fellows will be appointed by and will report to the RTI president, under part-time, one-year contracts that are eligible for renewal annually. RTI will have as many as three Visiting Fellows per year.

The RTI Visiting Fellow Program has three levels: Visiting Fellow, Senior Visiting Fellow, and Distinguished Visiting Fellow. The level of Visiting Fellow will be determined based on the individual’s level of expertise and experience.

Federal Government Policy Advisory Board

Visiting Fellows will constitute a new Federal Government Policy Advisory Board that will advise the RTI president on matters of high-level government policy as it affects RTI. This work will be coordinated with RTI’s other government relations activities.
