Vincent Iannacchione
Senior Statistician
Vincent Iannacchione, MS, a senior statistician, joined RTI in 1979. He directs statistical operations for national surveys on health care, drug abuse, education, and military studies. He has taught survey sampling at the University of North Carolina as well as short courses on the use of SUDAAN® for analyzing data from complex survey designs. In 2000, he led the first published evaluation of the use of address-based sampling (ABS) for an in-person household survey in the U.S. He then led a research effort to expand the use of ABS methodology for several national surveys including the 2008 American National Election Survey. In 2011, Mr. Iannacchione was awarded the American Association of Public Opinion Research Warren Mitofsky Innovators Award for his pioneering research in the use of ABS for surveys.
