Pablo Torres is a senior director of international energy and climate programs with 18 years of management, technical, operational, business development, and capacity     buildi­­ng experience. Mr. Torres worked for RTI between 2003 and 2011 and rejoined in 2021. He is fluent in Spanish and French.

His experience includes capacity building on low emission development strategies with/for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID); facilitating the delivery of online courses on climate change science, impacts, and action for the World Bank; working as an Analyst for the Clean Technology Fund of the Climate Investment Funds at the World Bank; conducting an evaluation of the Africa Clean Energy Finance Initiative; managing economic analysis and finance mobilization activities under the USAID Climate Economic Analysis for Development, Investment, and Resilience (CEADIR) project (including two years as Chief of Party); serving as a technical reviewer for EPA climate action grants; and conducting techno-economic research on green hydrogen and green fertilizer production in Africa.
