Helping improve the quality and effectiveness of service delivery through technical assistance to diverse stakeholders
Our team helps develop and strengthen local- and country-level systems, enabling them to deliver high-quality services to citizens. We support country-owned processes, adapting the tools of good governance to improve the quality of, increase access to, and expand demand for services. Our technical assistance and training enables governments, NGOs, and other stakeholders to work more effectively and efficiently by improving planning, budgeting, and financing of essential services. We also develop methods and approaches for expanding the reach of systems in basic and higher education, workforce development, health, food security, and municipal services.
Our approach emphasizes evidence and best practices; citizen participation and oversight; whole-of-society and market approaches; and effective policies and regulations. We help foster transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to the needs of citizens by working with countries to develop checks and balances between consumers, providers, and government.
