Creating pathways to education and careers
The path to a successful college experience and career can be more challenging for adults with low literacy skills. We have developed professional development materials, web-based tools, policy briefs, and how-to guides that help our clients address the needs of adults as they work to improve their basic skills, transition to and complete postsecondary education, and participate in career pathways that lead to living-wage employment.
For example, several recent projects have centered on identifying college and career readiness standards for adult education and supporting education providers as they bridge the gap between the services offered in correctional facilities with those available in the community.
