The Center for Community Health Evaluation and Economic Research (CHEER) is dedicated to improving the health and well- being of individuals in their workplaces and communities. CHEER has over 60 research staff who deliver science-based, multidisciplinary solutions for complex health challenges across the life span. CHEER capabilities include evaluation, research, economic analysis and technical assistance. CHEER conducts evaluations of interventions to promote health, prevent and treat disease and behavioral health disorders, improve the quality of care and promote health equity. CHEER economists assess the impact and cost-effectiveness of health interventions and policies. CHEER implementation research offers insights on what works, where and for whom; and technical assistance ensures the successful implementation of evidence-based interventions.
