Mark Granius is an international development professional specializing in integrated governance and promoting social accountability. He is skilled in political economy analysis, organizational capacity development. He designs and develops projects, and conducts monitoring and evaluation activities.

Currently, Mr. Granius administers the USAID-funded Asia Local Solutions Indefinite Deliverable, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) mechanism. The Local Solutions IDIQ has resulted in five individual task orders aimed at developing individual, organizational, and institutional capacity in Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, and Burma. He is also the Project Manager for the Laos Local Systems Strengthening (LSS) project. Laos LSS works with more than 30 local organizations to create local solutions to development challenges. Mr. Granius also provides technical support to the Sustainable Fish Asia (SUFIA) project. The goal of SUFIA is to improve the management of marine biodiversity and fisheries resources in the Asia Pacific Region. It aims to enhance the performance, viability, and compliance of two regional fishery support organizations and to identify private sector engagement opportunities towards investments in and adoption of sustainable fishing and fair labor practices in Asia.

Mr. Granius joined RTI in 2020. His background also includes positions at Counterpart International, Relief International, and USAID/Uzbekistan. He has been a guest lecturer at George Washington University.
