Mr. Manzi Rutayisire Antoine is a market systems development expert with more than 16 years of experience improving the rules, resources, and services for private sector enterprise and entrepreneurship growth. Through this experience, he has gained understanding of the root causes of inefficiencies in the market system and designed market-responsive solutions spanning advocacy, policy development, public-private-dialogue, access to finance, business development services, and market linkages.

Mr. Manzi currently serves as Deputy Chief of Party of the Feed the Future Hanga Akazi (Create Jobs) activity, a project supporting the growth of Rwanda’s knowledge-based economy by increasing inclusive employment and entrepreneurship opportunities across the food system. Prior to joining RTI, he served as Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID/Rwanda Isuku Iwacu Activity, where he oversaw a team of two and managed the project’s budget to increase market access to affordable sanitation products and services. He also held three different leadership roles at the Private Sector Federation (PSF), including: Director of Capacity Building, Director of Advocacy and Policy, and Director of Entrepreneurship Development and Business Growth. As Director of Entrepreneurship Development and Business Growth, he oversaw a team of 68 staff to coordinate four donor-funded programs focused on facilitating a dynamic private sector.

Mr. Manzi is a board member of Rwanda Management Institute (RMI), and a past board member of the Rwanda Innovative Endowment Fund and the Workforce Development Authority, Skills, and Development Fund. He is fluent in Kinyarwanda, English, French, and Swahili.
